About this event

There are a variety of hearing solutions in the marketplace and it's hard to figure out what is right for you. Everyone has different hearing abilities, so the solution that is perfect for one person may not work for someone else. We'll discuss Over-The-Counter (OTC) hearing aids and prescription hearing aids, solutions for hearing TV, and telephone as well as solutions for hearing in large areas.

Audiologist, Dr. Veronica Heide has been in practice in the Madison area for over 30 years.  Dr. Heide has worked in clinics, hospitals, and industry, and founded her private practice, Audible Difference®, in 1991.  In addition to her clinical practice, she worked as a research audiologist for Nicolet Instrument Corporation with Project Phoenix – the world’s first commercially available digital hearing aid.

Dr. Heide was awarded the first “Audiologist of the Year” in 2000 from Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Association (WSHA).  This was an award nominated by patients and juried by professionals.  She received the WSHA Outstanding Service Award in 2004, and in 2008 received the WSHA Honors of the Association.
